On another more cheery note, there’s a big debate raging in tennis circles over who the greatest tennis player(s) of all time is (are). I’ve responded briefly to some of these comments:

Anyway, here is my list ofthe all-time tennis greats, in ascending order (no. 1 being the best):
10. Mats Wilander
9. Jimmy Connors
8. John McEnroe
7. Ivan Lendl
6. Andre Agassi
5. Rod Laver
4. Pete Sampras
3. Rafael Nadal
2. Bjorn Borg
1. Roger Federer
Honorary Mention: Stefan Ebderg, Boris Becker.

Lendl, Connors and Sampras deserve a better ranking than Nadal.

Hey marwan,
This is a really great top ten list. I would included Arthur Ash and Michael Chang in my top ten. I really like Federer and I hope he breaks Sampras’s Grand Slam Record. You can post this to our site http://www.toptentopten.com/ and then link back to your site. The coolest feature is you can let other people vote on the rankings of your list.

Pretty good ranking, Nadal is still so young, you feel he will win all four grand slams as he has only the US open left which for him is very achievable.
I would love it if Federer won at least one French open, seems unlikely though with Nadal around.
