I got a link today about a new book launch in Lebanon about the "Memoires de Camille Aboussoua"; the book cover is quite inviting, so you click on the link and it’s selling for $100 in Lebanon. Whereas in the US, the Memoirs of Barack Obama are $15 each, and you can get it for $11 on Amazon!. Not withstanding the GDP difference, you wonder why the publishing industry in Lebanon is so expensive! I am not sure how this compares in France, or in other Arab regions.. Obama for $15 or Aboussouan for $100 ?!?!?
