Vonage has an "Unlimited World Calling" plan for $24.99 to 60 countries.
The only arab countries on the list: Jordan, Bahrain, & Iraq.Saudi, Egypt, & UAE are all missing.interesting – i've never seen Jordan singled out on an american list like this before. maybe because many US troops pass through jordan to iraq? but this doesn't explain Bahrain, or why Qatar is not on the list. -

Thinking outside the box: driven by a need to create jobs for an educated young population, the heart of technological entrepreneurship beats fast in Jordan.
If you spend a lot of time reading about start-up internet companies in the Middle East, the same country pops up time and time again: Jordan.
It is one of the smallest nations in the Arab world, lacking the population of Egypt, the wealth of the Gulf or the history of Syria. But what it has, without a doubt, is the most exciting community of technology start-ups in the region.

I got a link today about a new book launch in Lebanon about the "Memoires de Camille Aboussoua"; the book cover is quite inviting, so you click on the link and it’s selling for $100 in Lebanon. Whereas in the US, the Memoirs of Barack Obama are $15 each, and you can get it for $11 on Amazon!. Not withstanding the GDP difference, you wonder why the publishing industry in Lebanon is so expensive! I am not sure how this compares in France, or in other Arab regions.. Obama for $15 or Aboussouan for $100 ?!?!?
